To be admitted to Fagskolen i Agder, the applicant must have completed vocational training with a certificate of apprenticeship / journeyman's certificate. Applicants who do not meet the requirements for general admission can apply for admission on the basis of  adequate experience.

If you do not have a certificate of apprenticeship / journeyman’s certificate, you register relevant practice.
Finally, you must upload documentation of relevant practice/diploma.

The study itself is free.

The student must cover expenses for any printing of subject matter and study material. And the student must use their own PC with administrator rights and Microsoft Office.

Great emphasis is placed on creating a good learning environment for the students with a focus on competence sharing.

The students’ experience from various workplaces is shared, and the education closely ties theory to practice.

The study is based on active learning, i.e., the student must participate in the learning process with their own work, task solutions in combination with teaching and guidance.

There will be task work both individually and in groups, presentations, company visits, and interdisciplinary projects. The school uses the online platform Its Learning, which is adapted for teaching and follow-up.

At the Fagskolen i Agder, the students receive follow-up throughout the entire course of education.

There is no exam, but assessment is based on tasks submitted along the way.
